Travel: Dublin in three days
Dublin is a very pedestrian friendly city. Spend this day walking around the city center and taking in the architecture and sites. The O’Connell Bridge is considered to be the center point of the city so make your way here to begin your explorations. There are many quaint and local shops and restaurants throughout the city center that would be interesting to stop in. Enjoy a typical Irish lunch and grab some Irish beer before you head back to the hostel.
Take a Guinness Brewery tour today. There are a few free walking tours available in Dublin but the Guinness tour is one of the best tours in the city. If you’re not interested in beer you can check out the popular O’Connell street where you can shop and watch locals. It would be a good idea to take a hop-on hop-off bus tour as these provide the best way to see the entire city without having to walk. There are also many bars in Dublin and after dinner you should make it a point to visit a few different bars and experience a variety of local drinking culture.
While Dublin isn’t known as being a great shopping city there are still a few places you might be interested in. Cow’s Lane Designer Mart is a great market for hipsters and edgy fashion trends. The Stephen Green shopping center is a beautiful indoor mall with plenty of options to meet your shopping needs. If you’re interested in a day trip you can consider Blarney Castle or the famous Cliffs of Moher
